To read about why I started this series, check out What’s On Our Most Important Shelf?.
I stumbled upon these Multicultural Nesting Dolls and I knew they would be the perfect addition to our World Peace Shelf! Unfortunately, this is a vintage set and I haven’t been able to find them on sale anywhere else. If you are crafty, you can make your own using this set.
L is obsessed with this work. She pulls it out probably 5 times a day. She loves talking about the different dolls (especially their hair), and it’s nice to be able to have this out as a simple illustration of the different skin colors that exist in the world.
Nesting dolls are also great for building hand strength and size discrimination skills.
