This month, my small group coaching clients requested some Thanksgiving-themed printables that don’t perpetuate the mythical First Thanksgiving of friendly Pilgrims and happy Native Americans feasting together. So I came up with this Montessori-Inspired Thanksgiving/Harvest Bundle that is absolutely HUGE! Here’s everything that’s included:

First up, we have some plant to Thanksgiving dish matching cards! These are 3-Part cards for each set, so there’s lots of options in terms of how to use these! For your littlest ones, I would use just one set as matching cards (for example, matching the control card of the Thanksgiving dish to the picture card of the Thanksgiving dish). For ages 3+, I would work on the association between the two sets to make that connection between the food we eat at Thanksgiving and the plant it comes from.

Then we have a couple of activities to learn about the Life Cycle of a Pumpkin. You can use the 3-part cards for sequencing or just regular matching. There’s also a mat that you can use as a cut and paste work or put velcro dots on the empty poster to make it reusable.

There are also several ways to learn about Making Pumpkin Pie. There are two versions of sequencing cards: one with words describing the step, one with numbers to put in order. There’s also a Making Pumpkin Pie Sequencing Story Mat, which you can use as a cut & paste work or with velcro dots to use it over and over again.

There are 3 pie fraction circles, which you can use as simple puzzles for your littlest ones. For ages 3+, you can use these to begin fraction nomenclature, and ages 5+ can work with fraction equivalencies by combining the fraction circles.

Let your kids fill their horns of plenty with items they’ve pinpushed or cut out with scissors! There are templates for pumpkins, apples, pears, and two types of leaves.

There are also 15 different sentence starters with a Thanksgiving/thankfulness theme, and they are included in both print and cursive. These are great to use with the movable alphabet or as writing prompts.

And of course I had to include some of my signature skip counting puzzles! There are puzzles for counting by 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s, with the numbers color coordinated with the bead bars, and the completed picture has the base number of harvest objects in it.

Finally, the bundle closes with 4 Thanksgiving book recommendations that are written by and/or from the perspective of the Indigenous inhabitants of North America.
ALL of that is included in my new Montessori-Inspired Thanksgiving/Harvest Bundle for just $10!
