Since we are just getting started with our continents studies, we’ve only worked with printables from the Continents and Oceans Printable Pack so far.  However, I’d love to show you a bit of what’s inside the other printable packs as well as the parts I’m most excited about!

You know my girls LOVE making books — it’s probably their favorite Montessori work, and I love that there are so many options for book making with the Montessori-Inspired Continents and Oceans Printable Pack Bundle!  Those Continent Play Dough mats will be getting tons of use when we begin going through each of the continents individually, and I love all of the ocean nomenclature materials — I’ve never found any materials that teach the oceans so thoroughly!

High quality materials for learning about Africa are also pretty difficult to find.  In Western cultures, I think Africa often gets thought of as one big country, rather than as a continent with over 50 different countries whose climate and landmarks vary by region.  There are so many materials in this Africa Unit pack to help gain a better understanding of the diversity of Africa!

Antarctica is another region that it is difficult to find good printable materials for, so I am so grateful that we will have these resources when we get to that continent!  I love that there are printables for 4 different areas of the classroom — those math materials are amazing!

Asia is another continent that is so large and yet all of its cultures seem to get lumped together as one.  The Asia printable pack breaks things down into regions, which helps to separate that lump a bit.  I also love that each of these printable packs contains printables with the animals that live there to be sorted by class.

I can tell you right now that my girls are going to think the Australia Food Vocabulary Nomenclature Cards are HILARIOUS.  It pairs American English words for different foods with the Australian version of their names.  I also love that this printable pack includes materials for the islands located around the country of Australia, as those are often overlooked in studies of this continent.

We are beginning our continent studies with Europe once we finish our broad overview of the continents and oceans, and I can’t wait to get some of these materials ready!  My girls are going to love studying all of the castles included in the Famous Sites in Europe Picture and Description Match Up Cards!

North America is where we live, but there is so much information in here that I didn’t even know!  I was already committed to including more about Native American Indians in this year’s study of North America, and the materials included in this printable pack are so informative.  I especially love the Native American Indian Territory descriptions with the map.

The South America pack is full of beautiful images!  My girls are especially going to love the Countries of South America Map Outlines, which we will probably use for a pin-pushing work.

You can find these printable packs HERE.
