My Printable Pals asked for a bundle all about bugs, which was quite an overwhelming topic! I just decided to focus in on just insects and arachnids, and I put it all together into this NEW Montessori-Inspired Insects & Arachnids Bundle. Here’s everything that’s inside:
Types of Insects 3-Part Cards: There are 3-part cards for 20 different insects that are common around the world.
Types of Arachnids 3-Part Cards: There are 3-part cards for 10 different arachnids.
Insects & Arachnids Close Up Matching Cards: There are 15 photos of insects and arachnids to match with a zoomed in view for a bit more advanced picture matching work. These are fun to use with a magnifying glass!
Insect or Arachnid Sorting Cards: There are definition cards for insect and arachnid, as well as 10 picture cards for each to sort into the appropriate category. Look for things like number of legs, antennae/no antennae, and how many body segments you can see.
Anatomy Posters: There are posters showing the Parts of a Grasshopper and the Parts of a Spider.
Insects & Arachnids Symmetry Drawing Cards: There are 6 symmetry drawing cards with just half of the insect or arachnid line drawing. Use the grid to fill in the missing half! There are also control cards included to show what the completed drawing should look like.
Ladybug Spots Counting Cards: There are cards for numbers 0-10 along with simple ladybugs. Count the number of spots on each ladybug and match it to the correct number.
Insects & Arachnids Skip Counting Puzzles: There are my signature skip counting puzzles for counting by 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, and 10s. The numbers on the puzzles are color coded to the base number’s bead bar color, and there are the base number of insects or arachnids in the completed puzzle.
My Book About Insects: There is a book filled with facts about insects in general as well as the same 20 insects that are included as 3-part cards.
Insects Who Am I? Game: There are Who Am I? cards for each of those same 20 insects featuring facts from the My Book About Insects.
