It’s almost Presidents’ Day! I was so excited for the launch of Every Star is Different’s NEW U.S. Presidents Bundle, which came out just in time! My own girls are obsessed with the musical Hamilton, so I’m sure they will enjoy learning about the real people whose names they already know well — plus we just changed Presidents and Vice Presidents in America, so this information is especially relevant for that recent transition! My favorite part of the Montessori-Inspired U.S. Presidents Bundle is that it includes information that can be used with preschoolers as well as elementary schoolers, and the facts included are child-friendly and actually interesting.
The Montessori-Inspired U.S. Presidents Bundle includes:
- U.S. Presidents for Preschoolers Printable Pack
- U.S. Presidents Printable Pack
- U.S. Vice Presidents Printable Pack
- U.S. First Ladies Nomenclature Cards
for a total of 312 pages of resources all about past and present U.S. Presidents, Vice Presidents, and First Ladies! As usual, let’s take a deeper look inside.
The U.S. Presidents Printable Pack for Preschoolers is designed for pre-readers and includes many preschool activities. My favorite thing about this part of the bundle is that it includes several activities about the Presidents featured on U.S. money. Although this part is billed as a “pack for preschoolers,” many of these materials can be used beyond the preschool years.
The U.S. Presidents Printable Pack includes activities about all of the United States Presidents, including where they stood/stand on issues such as slavery, civil rights, women’s rights, Indigenous People’s rights, the environment, and more. I especially love the Who Am I? Cards and the facts included in the My Book of American Presidents because they actually include interesting tidbits like “I was the first president to publicly refuse to eat broccoli” — what kid doesn’t want to learn things like that?!
P.S. That was the 41st President, George H.W. Bush.
The U.S. Vice Presidents Printable Pack is designed for preschool and elementary children and includes nomenclature cards for all past Vice Presidents as well as activities specific to the current Vice President. I’m especially excited for the Where’s Waldo-style Where is Vice President Kamala Harris book!
The U.S. First Ladies Nomenclature Cards portion of the bundle includes 3-part cards for each of the past and current First Ladies. Did you know that not all of the First Ladies in the past were spouses? Some of them were actually the Presidents’ daughters, daughters-in-law, nieces, and even sisters!
Needless to say, I’ve learned a lot myself just from preparing these U.S. Presidents printables for my kids!
The Montessori-Inspired U.S. Presidents Printables are currently available all together for just $14.99 — that’s 75% off!
