I have spent the past week reviewing and testing out the Montessori math printables from Every Star is Different, and I am so excited to share how we are using them in our homeschool preschool!
These are the Montessori math printable bundles we have tested:

We have just begun using these amazing Montessori math bundles, and I can see that they are going to take us through the preschool years and well into the elementary years before we have used all of them!
You may remember that I did a review of the Montessori Math Bead Bar Printable Bundle last summer — we are STILL using all of the components of that pack! We have loved using the printable with our set of bead bars, although they are not necessary to use the bundle.
The Bead Bar Bundle has been instrumental in helping L understand teens. Before we started using the printables in that bundle, she thought 11 was a one and a one, 12 was a one and two, 13 was a one and a three, and so on. The bead bar printables really helped her to see that 11 is actually a ten and a one, 12 is a ten and a two, 13 is a ten and three, etc. It has been a game changer!
L’s favorite part of the bead bar bundle is the “My Number Books” that are included — she loves making her own books! So far she has made the 1-10 book and the teens book. I still haven’t even printed out the bigger numbers!
We also use the bead bar bundle all together as we do Circle Time each morning — we pull out the number card for whatever the date is and then the girls have to bring over the matching bead bars.
This bead bar pack has also helped L with beginning addition. She has mastered these clip cards now, so I was so excited to hear about these other math printable bundles since they contain the next steps!
The Montessori Addition and Subtraction Bundle is right where L needs to be now. I began by printing just the pages with the numbers and symbols, then adding those to our bead bar addition clip cards. This helps L to move from adding with physical bead bars to adding with the numbers only.
I also printed just the first page of the Addition Strips included, which L used with some bead bars and the number cards again to continue making the leap from the concrete bead bars to the abstract numbers.
She is also enjoying the addition clip cards from the Holiday Addition and Subtraction Clip Card Bundle — these little chicks are from the Easter cards.
L isn’t ready for subtraction, multiplication, or division just yet, so I haven’t printed those resources yet. However, I’m glad that I already have them handy on my computer to be printed out as soon as she needs them.
