My Doodle-y Activity Book is now available on my Blog Shop!
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my post last week about needing a non-electronic activity to keep L busy at a restaurant one night last week. I couldn’t find anything I LOVED online, so I decided to create my own! I made just a few pages that day to try out at the restaurant while we waited for food — and it was a hit! So I spent this past week designing more pages so this activity book will be appropriate for all kids ages 2 and up.
I laminated all of the pages so L can draw on them with a dry-erase marker, erase, and use them over and over again! The pages are attached by a small metal ring that snaps open, so if you have multiple kids you can just take the pages off and pass them out — NO FIGHTING! #momwin
There are 10 different activities (the last page has 3 activities on it… so technically there’s more than 10!), so My Doodle-y Activity Book can last for hours of fun again and again. We have two road trips coming up this summer, and we always eat out a lot on vacation, so I am looking forward to getting a lot of use out of this in the next few months!
Even erasing the marker is fun — can I count that as another activity?!
You can see all 10 pages and grab your copy at my Blog Shop on Etsy!
Excellent!
Amazing idea. This is something im going to have to try.
I love it! It’s definitely a lot better than giving them a smart phone playing a cartoon (one thing that I do sometimes for lack of a better option). Absolutely love the idea! Thanks for sharing it!
